1. Scope: this standard specifies the status codes of the deformed aluminum alloy.
This standard is applicable to aluminum and aluminum processing products.
2. Basic principles
2.1 the basic status symbol is represented by a capital letter in English.
2.2 the subdivision status code is represented by a base status code followed by one or more Arabic numerals.
2.3 basic status codes
There are five basic states
Code name description and application
F free processing state is applicable to products that have no special requirements for processing hardening and heat treatment conditions during the forming process. The mechanical properties of this state product are not specified.
O annealing condition is applicable to the processing products with the lowest intensity of annealing.
H processing hardening condition is suitable for products that are strengthened by processing hardening. The products can be treated by (and not pass through) after the hardening of the products, which can be added with reduced strength.
W solid melting heat treatment processing state A state of instability, apply only after solution heat treatment, natural aging of the alloy at room temperature, the state only that products are in the stage of natural aging.
T heat treatment condition (different from F, O, H state) is applicable to the stable product after heat treatment, after (or not). The T code must be followed by one or more Arabic numerals. The first number behind the T word indicates the basic type of heat treatment (from 1~ 10), and subsequent figures indicate a change in heat treatment details. Such as the 6061 - T6; 5083 - H321etc.
